I was inspired by the simple beanie for this pattern, but felt like it needed a little bit more, and that’s where the stripes came in. I had some fake fur poms that I wanted to use and some pretty yarn, and a friend with a cute daughter who I love making things for!
The name of the hat was chosen by my 7 year old after I put it to Instagram for name suggestions - have a look for Kerensa Crochet on Instagram to see the video she made!

Weave in ends. Fold hat up in to a brim where you have the 4 rounds of plain trebles. Stitch to the body of the hat in a few places so the brim stays up. Attach Pom Pom of your choice at the top or you can leave it without one!
